The profile of YUVA Unstoppable ’s Yuva-ites is varied. The Yuva-ites are students or housewives or young professionals. Recently, many retired men and women have also shown a keen interest in Yuva-iteing at YUVA Unstoppable. YUVA Unstoppable’s projects are set up to cater to people who come from different walks of life. A YUVA Unstoppable Yuva-ite is expected to give 2 hours a week on a particular day to a partner NGO that deals with underprivileged children.
A YUVA Unstoppable Yuva-ite has to pass through the Orientation Training to become a YUVA Unstoppable Member. This Orientation Training starts from the time a person walks into the YUVA Unstoppable Office for inquiry. The Yuva-ite is expected to fill out a simple form at the In1quiry. He/She can then choose a project to serve at for a month. It is only when the one-month-seva criterion (or has visited the project 4 times) is fulfilled by a Yuva-ite that they become eligible to become YUVA Unstoppable Members. The Projects Coordinator will take recommendations from the Project Leader for each new Yuva-ite. An interview will be conducted at the new member orientation and on passing these, the Yuva-ite will be granted membership. YUVA will have specific guidelines from the NGOs as to what do they want from their Yuva-ites.
